I just received a comment from the President of the Down Syndrome Association of Miami. She asked me to add their group to the DS resources page. I have always had this vision of having this site be a comprehensive resource for people to find support groups all over the world. I think this is a good catalyst for this.
If you want your recognized support groups or websites added to DSC, please submit a comment or shoot me an email.

I found this site while looking for hours for a summer camp for a niece with down syndrome.
Is either impossible to find one between Miami and the Florida Keys or just really hard to find it on line.
Is the a site you could possible refer me to?
Thank you.

There is a place called PATCHES down in Homestead that is open from 6am-6pm and offers care for kids with different medical problems, down syndrome been one of many. They are a non-profit organization and have RNs, EMTs, Therapist, etc, on site to care for this kids while their parents go to work, to school, etc.
