Being adopted at an early age I don't know much about my past. I receintly found out that my twin brother (showed on his deth certificate that he died after 1 month 29 days of what the certificate called Mongolism which I understand this term is no longer used) My question is about the inheriting issues. How do I know of this form of Down Syndrom was the Translocation type? Do my grandchildren and great grandchildren have this risk of inheritating this gene?

Thank you
