Ryan’s and Michael’s Angels was formed in 2008 and is part of the Alexanders Angels Org. We participated in the 2008 Long Island Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome and will also walk in this years Long Island Buddy Walk on Oct. 18, 2009 at Nassau Community College in Garden City, L.I.

The L.I. Buddy Walk reaches out to friends, family and co-workers to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome and to raise money for research, education and advocacy programs.

The 3rd annual Long Island Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome will be on Sunday, October 18, 2008 from 10:30am to 3:00pm at Nassau Community College in Garden City, L.I.     Thank you for wanting to help. We are having a Long Island Buddy Walk on Oct. 18, 2009 from 10:30 AM to 3:00PM at Nassau community College in Garden City, Long Island. We are in need of volunteers to join and walk with us. Is a walk consisting of 1 mile. All walkers are treated to food and refreshments as well as live music. It is a fun event.

    We are having a couple of other fundraisers:

    Fundraiser at Friendly’s Restaurant
    960 Montauk Hwy.
    Copiague, NY
    Time: 5:00to 9:00 PM
    Take out orders count.

    Fundraiser at Adventureland Amusement Park
    Route 110
    Farmingdale, NY
    Time: 12:00 PM to 7:00PM

    Tickets are $16.50 each and include all rides. That’s a savings of $8:00 off the regular admission price. Tickets must be purchased in advance, before Aug., 6, 2009 to get the discounted tickets.

    Time: 6:30 PM

    Tickets are $12.00 each and must be purchased in advance. Contact Dawn at Dawnmbli@aol.com for more information or to purchase.
