  • Deb/Diane,

It would be great if you ea. could start groups for service providers and issues as they pertain to adults with Down Syndrome. The only way we’re going to be able to build a corpus of knowledge and feedback is to build it from scratch. if you feel comfortable being group admins/moderators, I’m sure many people in the future will be greatly appreciative as well as helping you with your individual needs/questions.

    Just a thought :)

  • Hello all…Thank you for being members of this fledgling community. I hope you have found it useful if not a little interesting. I know there is much to do so I am asking everyone to let me know what needs to be done to the site? Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

    Possible ideas:

    Photo Gallery
    Forums
    More groups
    Better instructions/usability

    Others?

Thanks all. This site has the goal of being a resource and a network for people all over the World especially those that are in need of help.

    Justin

  • Hi, I’m also new to the group to this Web site really. I have a 21 year old daughter with Down Syndrome, she is a handful at times. I hope to learn more about down syndrome even though I lived with it for so long. I’m here to learn more and help if I can. I am also hoping to meet new people that have a better understanding, of how much work goes into raising a down syndrome child even after adulthood.

  • I’m NEW to this group … I work with a DS adult & just want to learn MORE about it so i can be able to deal with him alot better & be able to understand him more
