Hi michael let me introduce myself and my baby. My name is sara and my baby se’anna. My baby will be 2 in about another week born with down syndrome she is 1 of 4 kids my baby my angel. It is important to find a dr. That is experience with children that have down syndrome. I also have a regular pediatrician but she has a pretty good amount of children with down. Babys with down see many specialist and its important for your dr. To direct you and guide you to the proper specialist. I recommend a dr. That’s has experience with children with down syndrome. My baby is blessed with her dr. She has met all my babies need. My baby was born at 8 month and thanks to early intervention she was rolling at 1 month. She did smile until she was about six or seven month and that made me sad. When she finally smile my heart was overwhelm with joy. Now she is always smiling. She is so happy and makes everyone around her happy. I was blessed with an angel. I encourage you to find a dr. Who can met your babies needs. God bless you and your little angel.

i love my daughter with all my heart an im trying to find the best help possible for her right now . — she goes an sees an actual pediatrician on may 1st but im not sure if this dr has had any experiance with ds infants . can you tell me what all things i should or can be doing with her right now to help her i mean right now all she does is sleep all day long unless wake to eat. she is 7 weeks old.

Let us introduce ourselves..My name is Melanie and our son is Isaiah. He 3 yrs old and hes into SpongeBob, Music, Dancing and helping me in the kitchen. We learned of Isaiahs diagnosis when I was just 41/2-5 months along thru amniocentesis. It wasn’t going to define whether he was born or not it was so that I could learn more about DS and be prepared when his birthday arrived if the test came back (+). We’re glad that we followed our heart all the way along, he’s the best thing that’s happened to us and enriched our families lives that much more….
