i´m mother of a child with Down Syndrome, she´s 6 years old, she started talking some words like:mom and dad, she makes noises with her mouth when she is hungry and likes to hear music, specially from the T.V programs of Discovery Kids, she likes to watch Backyardigans, Charlie and Lola, Barney, Lazy town, Hi5, and others i don´t remember, she is a very tender, loving and so sweet child!!

I was 22 years old. she never got to me my Se’anna i am sure she would’ve loved her so much. It is very difficult raising a normal child, it is ten time harder with a child with special need. all the therapist and specilist and dr. appointment. So i can image what your going through. But you know what i have learn, That God is good and he will never for sake us and he will never leave us. He will be with you through your darkest hour. You just have to believe and pray and i will do the same, I will be praying for you and with you. Stay strong and you will percervere.. God has made us the promise to always be wlth us and he will.     I learn very soon that they all say the same thing. The things that I have learn is the each child with down syndrome are unique and different. The books all talk about the 47 chromosone and trisomy 21. I have learn talking to other parent
    ts and through this website that our babies aren’t disable there just different abilities. Books are great, but don’t get discourage if you can get a hold on them. I am sure some where along the line you will get your hands on some. Trust me you will learn more by getting information on line and through people like me and this wonderful web
    site. Your baby looks so much like mine they have the same smile. We are going to learn together . Lean on me and let me lean on you and we will make it through this journey together.
