This would be my message to all expecting moms of Down Syndrome babies- we did not know that we were having a DS baby and only found out he was the day after he was born. A mothers Love is Blind and you will still think that your baby is the most beautiful baby ever created, you will be ever more so protective over this special baby than any other and i can honestly tell you with my hand on my heart that it will be the greatest thing that has ever happened to you- the world will seem more colorful and life will have a meaning like never before. As your child reaches each milestone ( no matter how long they take because they will get there) there is a feeling in your heart that cannot be explained, its beyond proud!!!! lol xxx
