It’s true that raising a child with DS is very challenging in all aspects. Cheers for all the parents who have chosen to take this challenge.

Hi I am new, I have a 5 month old daughter with ds I love her very much but am still having a hard time believing that she has it when I look at her I don’t think she looks different than other babies, She don’t act different, except more medical problems. I am doing my best to cope with this. but its like I go through thinking and treating her like normal and now we have to start therapy, and do all the drs apts over so I have to accept the diagnoses over again. Will this get easier? They are telling us they don’t think she can hear, how can they tell on a baby so young? I have a million questions,
