Go DONNA GO…

Our friend Laura Sauer just posted on her blog that her daughter came through her PDA with flying colors. I know many of you were sending best wishes. I could not be happier and more relieved that Donna is now back to her old self, presumably giving Mom a hard time.

Congrats!!! This was a scary surgery for us when we went through it too. It is such a blessing to have surgeons skilled in this area. If you want to see the story of the first cardiac surgeries ever done–get the HBO movie “Something the Lord Made”–it is awesome…warning though– Dr. Blalock’s character curses a great deal–it is the one serious flaw of the movie.

Thank you so much everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, advice and concern. Thank you Justin for featuring us on the “front page” of this site! We are very touched. Donna Marie feels like a cover girl now :)

    Donna,

I am so glad that everything went good for your daughter. We are getting prepared for open heart surgery on my newborn son next week. I wish you the best of luck and I hope she recovers quickly.
